Wood Storage Shed Plans

I’ve always been curious about building your own shed, but have never taken the time to build my own. Like most of my building projects, I usually put the non-critical stuff at the bottom of the list for last. More often than not, I never have time to get to the bottom of the list.

Well, it turns out that I did get down to building my own shed in the back yard and I figured I would write up something quick about it. When I searched on the Internet I didn’t see any real guides or reviews and this sort of bugged me. Let me just tell you this, if I get bugged enough to write a review about something, chances are that it is worth reading.

When I start any project, such as building my own shed in the backyard, I always find a good plan (usually on the Internet nowadays). I’ve been building for over 20 years now, but any new guy can tell you that you need to find a plan before you build.

My search was rather quick when I got on the Internet. I found this site called MyShedPlans.com and it boasted over 12,000 shed plans. Great I thought, but that sounded a bit too good to be true. I pulled out the credit card from my wallet and paid the $37 to get access. Last time I bought plans on a different site I spent about twice as much and those plans were crap to say the least. I didn’t mind paying for the plans because I knew that I would likely be using the plans again.

After buying the shed plan package, I did get access to the promised 12,000 database of plans. It didn’t take long for me to find the perfect shed plan for the job and the next day I was already gathering supplies to start the job.

Here is a picture of the shed and as you can see it turned out very nice.

If you are considering building your own shed, I recommend that you go to the same shed plan site that I have been using. I’ve paid for about 5 other sites and this one is the best one with the best selection.
