Aside from its detached location, it helps you keep unused and miscellaneous things in your house. Garden sheds are great space savers. They are designed to accommodate almost anything you need to store.

Garden Shed plan has various specifications that will fit your requirements.

Basic guide to building your garden shed:

• Design: Get your design straight. Decide if you want it to be mobile or permanent. Here’s a good tip, since garden sheds are designed to go with your beautiful landscape, you may want to build it in such a way that you can move it and change its location around the garden. This way, you can do more landscaping and put on more flowerbeds.

• Foundation: Start with your foundation. If you wish for your shed to be permanent, you can use cement as your flooring. This will prove to be more sturdy and termite resistant. If it’s a movable shed you’re building, keep your floor on wooden slabs.

• Walls: Start raising your wall. Using your flooring as a foundation, you can start attaching wall frames on all sides, intersecting them all the way to the roof part. Attach your wall slabs to your frames starting from the floor frame going up.

• Windows: Although air and light passages is important for your shed, you don’t have to put windows on every side. Unless your purpose is to entertain people, you don’t need to make it as open and exposed. A single window on one side is enough.

• Roof: Get your roof done by doing the same process as what you did with your walls. Carefully and securely attach them to your roof frame to avoid weak attachment.

• Doors: One main concern about building sheds is the door size. Get your door to a standard size. Not because you a smaller door are the trend, you can have it. No, that is not how it works with your shed. Make sure your door can provide you enough passage as well as the items you will need to store inside.

• Paint: You have the choice of painting your shed or retain its natural color. If you choose the latter, you may want to apply a natural finishing color. This will help protect the wood from the changing weather outside.
